A public commitment

The Recipe Bill of Rights

Recipe apps have locked decade-old collections behind retroactive paywalls, paywalled exports, and buried cancel buttons. These six commitments are Recivy's answer — published here so you can hold us to them.

  1. Your recipes export free, forever

One-tap export of your full library in a standard, open format — free on every plan, including the free one, including after you cancel. Your collection is yours.

  2. Saved recipes are always viewable

Nothing you have saved is ever locked behind a paywall after the fact. If you saved it, you can open it, cook it, and export it — paying customer or not.

  3. Quotas are never retroactive

If a plan limit changes, it applies to future saves only. We will never reach back into your existing collection and restrict it. Other apps have done this; we wrote the opposite into policy.

  4. Creators are always credited

Every imported recipe keeps the creator's name and a link to the original video or page. We never redistribute anyone's content — only the structured recipe, with attribution that drives traffic back to its author.

  5. Cancel is one tap, with no hostage-taking

Cancel any time from the app. Your library, your exports, and your saved recipes remain exactly as they were.

  6. Limits are stated upfront

The free plan's AI-import allowance is shown in the app before you hit it — a visible monthly meter, not a surprise paywall mid-import.

These commitments apply to every Recivy user on every plan. If you believe we have fallen short of any of them, email hello@recivy.com — it goes to the people who wrote this page.
